Greetings fellow members

Thank you all for helping out at our Summer Festival last month; we couldn't have done it without you. While it was a long and physically exhausting day, we received plenty of good feedback from the public, which makes it all worthwhile. There were plenty of young families enjoying the day’s events. Well done Grant for leading the organising committee. Lots of things to consider and build on for next year.

Big thank you to Tony and Shona Blair for hosting the Lions social at their home last month. It was a very enjoyable evening with plenty of good fellowship. The finger food was a great idea and gave us plenty of variety.

Next big event to look forward to is the Water Safety Picnic on the 24 March... just two and a half weeks away. I really enjoy this day because to me it is what family beach events should be like; fun, wet and active. Once again, we'll need plenty of hands on deck to make this event a success. Please let Rex know asap, if you haven't already, when you will be available. Tell all your friends about the event and encourage them to tell others.

That time is drawing near... Everybody please start thinking about what roles you would like to take on for the next Lions Year. Put forward you name for nomination. Remember you only get as much out, as you put in to Lions.
